About Me

She has worked for Netflix, Amazon, Shondaland, NBC, Disney, Freeform, Sony, among others as a consultant, access coordinator, and on-set advocate and coach. A star of the Emmy winning HBO film, Autism: The Musical, Elaine is an internationally recognized keynote speaker, media personality, award winning writer, inclusion/belonging expert, and script consultant for TV, Theater and Film. 

Mother of an adult non-speaking son on the spectrum, and identifying as neurodivergent herself, she has been featured in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, and on CNN, HBO, OWN, and more. Her memoir, Now I See the Moon, was selected by the United Nations for World Autism Awareness Day in 2011 and she and her son have been invited to present at the UN several times.  Elaine is the creator of The Miracle Project, a groundbreaking theater and film program, where she collaborates with members to develop authentic original content for TV, theater and film. 

She is also founder of The Miracle Project, and co-founder of 1IN4 Coalition.
