Ayan has enjoyed musical theater ever since she was a child and as a result, she acted in many productions with Kids On Stage, a children’s theater company. In the summer of 2015, she was also a camp counselor for the same group.
She has been a member of the Company Class at The Miracle Project since 2018. The Miracle Project works with people with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities. The Company Class includes actors with and without disabilities, they also write and perform an original musical every year. She was the first official costumer for The Miracle Project. In addition to costume designing for the 2021 and 2022 productions, she has also translated the chorus of one of the songs featured in each year’s production into American Sign Language (ASL).

When she is not acting or costuming she is working towards certification as a therapeutic riding instructor at Dream Catcher of Los Angeles Therapeutic Riding Centers in Long Beach California. Dream Catcher teaches horseback riding lessons to people of all ages and all abilities. I have volunteered at Dream Catcher for the past 3 years.
